On the occasion of the first European Workshop/Contest of CCR - cultural centres-historic monuments, « Innovation in Architecture and Heritage », the Chartreuse de Villeneuve lez Avignon hosted from 25th to 28th of June 70 students and 30 teachers in architecture from Europe, as well as representatives of the CCR registered in the competition.
The Jury of the Workshop/Contest met on 26th and 27th of June and it gathered: Andrea Bruno (president), François Barré and Jean Gautier (vice-presidents), Marc Barani, Pierre Bourrier, Maria Calado, François Chaslin, Guillaume d'Andlau, Pierre-Louis Faloci, François Goven, Jean-François Cabestan, Dominique Lyon, Heinz Wismann (members).
The
Jury awarded the students of prof. Andrea Moneta (Course of Scenography
- faculty of Architecture Valle Giulia - University of Rome La
Sapienza) for the project “Entre Maria et Martha - Beyond the wall” -
for “Pertinence” and “Presentation”, a project about the Teatro
Potlach located inside Monastery of Santa Maria del Soccorso (Fara
Sabina-Italy).
The exhibition of the 17 candidate projects is on display in the Main Cloister of La Chartreuse until the European Heritage Days. The publishing house Moniteur prepares the publication of the projects in the revue “AMC-Le Moniteur”.
The prizes will be handed by Ms. Christine Albanel, French Ministry of Culture and Communication on October 15th in Paris (Salon des Maréchaux – rue de Valois).
